Foster Grandparent Volunteer

Job Description: Our AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers serve in local schools and daycare centers as Foster Grandparents. They work one on one with students in need of extra attention in their studies, social development or emotional support. Volunteers must meet income guidelines, be age 55 or over and have a love of working with youth. In return for their time and experience volunteers receive a modest hourly stipend, transportation reimbursement and perks galore.
