Housing Outreach Worker

Carroll, Lee, Ogle and Whiteside Counties, 40 hours/week

Do have a passion for helping people and work with them one-on-one on building goals to become self-sufficient and stably housed? If you answered yes, then we have a job opened that would be perfect for you!

The Housing Outreach Worker will work out of our Sterling office and partner with local homeless and domestic violence shelters on assisting chronically homeless and disabled individuals to obtain housing and provide case management services to maintain housing.

An Associate’s Degree in Social Services or related field or the equivalent in experience is required. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, insured transportation, and be willing to travel. Bilingual is a plus.
